Riyadh: Qatar’s equestrian team comprising Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al Thani, Ghanem Nasser Al Qadi, and Mohammed Khalifa Al Baker qualified for the final round of the showjumping competition at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games Riyadh 2025 yesterday.
Sheikh Ali finished the second qualifying round in first place without any faults, while Al Qadi finished in thirteenth place with 4 penalty points, and Al Baker finished in 22nd place with 12 penalty points.
The riders will compete in the final round on Saturday, aiming for a place on the podium.
Qatar national volleyball team finished fourth in Riyadh.
Meanwhile, the Qatar national volleyball team lost to Bahrain 3-1 (18-25, 25-20, 21-25, 20-25) in the match for third place, thus finishing fourth and missing out on the bronze medal.
