Qatar participates in Heads of INTERPOLs National Central Bureaus Conference
The State of Qatar is participating in the work of the 16th Conference of Heads of INTERPOLs National Central Bureaus (NCBs), which started on Tuesday, via video communication technology, and will last for three days. The conference, which brings together all heads of INTERPOL's NCBs, will discuss inter-office issues and the promotion of international police cooperation for transnational combat, as well as the exchange of expertise, experiences and best practices in addressing cross-border crimes. The conference will also review the frameworks of cooperation between the various offices, the means of developing them, and the lessons learned from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on cross-border crime. The State of Qatar will be represented at the conference, from the National Central Bureau of Interpol Doha, Head of the Communication Department of the Arab and International Police Lt. Col. Mohammed Fahed Al Hajri, police coordination officer in the bureau First Lieutenant Fahd Adel Al Mal, and liaison officer at the bureau First Lieutenant Nawaf Abdullah Al Sulaiti.
