The State of Qatar and the Hellenic Republic signed an agreement for joint legal cooperation between their ministries of justice. Minister of Justice HE Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri and Minister of Justice of the Hellenic Republic Kostas Tsiaras signed the agreement.The agreement aims to strengthen the two countries’ legal cooperation bonds, exchange experiences, expertise, and legislation on issues of mutual interest, and organize scientific meetings, conferences, and training courses on a variety of legal affairs and related sectors. The agreement establishes a joint coordination for the implementation of cooperation and joint training programs for workers in both countries’ legal sectors.On the eve of the agreement’s signing, HE Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri met with Kostas Tsiaras and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting the country. During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen and expand legal cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Hellenic Republic in a variety of judicial fields, as well as mechanisms to implement the legal agreement signed between the two friendly countries and a number of issues of mutual interest.
