Qatar Calendar House (QCH) has announced that, based on astronomical calculations, Tuesday April 13 2021 will be the first day of Ramadan and that Monday, April 12, 2021, is the completion of the month of Shaban 1442 AH. The legal decision to enter the blessed month of Ramadan for this year remains within the jurisdiction of the crescent vision investigation committee at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the State of Qatar. Executive director of Sheikh Abdullah Al Ansari Complex, Faisal Mohammed al Ansari said that the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan for 1442 AH will be born on Monday April 12 at dawn, at 5:31 am Doha local time (2:31 am GMT). The sun will set on Monday from the sky of the State of Qatar at 5:55 pm, while the date of sunset for the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan will be at 6:16 pm. This means that the crescent will set 21 minutes after sunset on Monday, so this period will increase whenever we head west. The sighting of the crescent is affected by several factors, including climatic, geographical and astronomical factors such as the residence period, the age of the crescent and its height above the western horizon at sunset.More Related News
