Former Minnesota Police Officer Derek Chauvin requested that the state's Supreme Court reconsider his homicide conviction. Prosecutors are urging the state to reject the request.
"Petitioner received a fair trial, and received the benefit of a fulsome appellate review," prosecutors wrote. "It is time to bring this case to a close."
