Pro-LGBT Netflix star Sebastian Croft faces wrath of trans community for appearing in Harry Potter video game
Fox News
Sebastian Croft, who made it big on pro-LGBT Netflix show "Heartstopper," distanced himself from author J.K. Rowling over the trans issue.
The actor told his fans that he was cast in "Hogwarts Legacy" — an action role-playing game set in the "Harry Potter" universe — years before he knew about Rowling’s "views" on transgender issues. Jeffrey Clark is an associate editor for Fox News Digital. He has previously served as a speechwriter for a cabinet secretary and as a Fulbright teacher in South Korea. Jeffrey graduated from the University of Iowa in 2019 with a degree in English and History.
"I was cast in this project over three years ago, back when all Harry Potter was to me, was the magical world I grew up with. This was long before I was aware of JK Rowling’s views. I believe wholeheartedly that trans women are women and trans men are men." Story tips can be sent to jeffrey.clark@fox.com.
