Priyanka Gandhi Seeks Rs 1 Crore Aid For Families Of Teachers Who Died In UP

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said 1,621 teachers have died during the panchayat election duty in Uttar Pradesh.

They fulfilled their responsibilities towards their duty, the Congress general secretary asserted. "Now, the UP government should not indulge in a cover-up and should give compensation of Rs 1 crore to the families of all the deceased teachers, workers, and give a job to a dependent from the bereaved family," she said on Twitter.
