Pope Francis denounces ‘folly of war’ in Palm Sunday homily
Fox News
Pope Francis indirectly referenced Russia's war on Ukraine in his Palm Sunday homily, saying the "folly of war" leads people to commit "senseless acts of cruelty."
"When we resort to violence ... we lose sight of why we are in the world and even end up committing senseless acts of cruelty," the pontiff said during his Palm Sunday homily. "We see this in the folly of war, where Christ is crucified yet another time."
