Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday accused the central government of being "policy paralysed" and said that it cannot secure victory over coronavirus. In a tweet, the Congress leader said, "A policy paralysed GOI cannot secure victory over the virus. Face it. Don't fake it." Earlier on April 28, Mr Gandhi had hit out at the central government stating that a large amount of public money was spent on the companies that make the coronavirus vaccine and now the same vaccine is being sold to the public at higher prices. He had said that no other country in the world had such high-cost vaccines and criticised Prime Minister Modi-led government for robbing people for his friends.
