Police shut down roads near Belwood Lake

Wellington County OPP have closed two roads near Belwood Lake, northeast of Fergus, Ont.

Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have closed two roads near Belwood Lake, northeast of Fergus, Ont.

OPP say a police investigation is happening in the area, but have provided no other information.

Police tweeted about the closure at 9:46 a.m. Wednesday.

Wellington Road 18 is closed between Fifth Line and Third Line. Fourth Line is closed between Wellington Road 18 and Eramosa-Garafraxa Townline.

In total, around 7 km of roadway is blocked off.
