Police Complaint Filed Against Trinamool's Mahua Moitra For 'Gogoi' Tweet

Mahua Moitra had allegedly posted the tweet in reference to a list of unparliamentary words. "My first of new twitter series on replacements for unparliamentary words. Banned word- Sexual Harassment Replacement- Mr Gogoi," she allegedly wrote on Thursday.
A complaint has been lodged with the police in Assam's Sivasagar district against Trinamool Congress Member of Parliament Mahua Moitra for her tweet which allegedly links the expression 'sexual harassment' with an Assamese surname. A local organisation, Jatiya Sangrami Sena had filed the written complaint alleging that Mahua Moitra had insulted the entire Assamese community with her tweet and demanded an unconditional apology from her.
