PM reviews OBC, EWS reservation in All India Quota for medical education

PM Narendra Modi reviewed the issue of OBC and EWS reservation in the All India Quota for medical education.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the issue of OBC and EWS reservation in the All India Quota for medical education on Monday. The issue had been pending for many years despite several litigations on the issue in various courts. In total, 15% of UG seats and 50% of PG seats of state government medical colleges are earmarked as All India Quota. For admission, SC and ST have reservation in this quota, but there is no reservation for OBCs.
