PM Modi to meet Hyderabad BJP corporators, leaders in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold an informal meeting with BJP corporators of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and other senior leaders in Delhi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet BJP corporators of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and other senior leaders in Delhi on Tuesday, June 7.
PM Modi has invited senior leaders, 47 BJP corporators along with office bearers of Hyderabad unit to the meeting. However, this will be informal interaction over tea.
This is the first time, during his tenure as the prime minister, that PM Modi has called for such informal interaction.
Top party sources told India Today that on May 26, during his Hyderabad visit, PM Modi had asked the state BJP leaders and corporators to come to Delhi.
The BJP will hold a national executive meeting in Hyderabad on July 2 and 3. Besides, the party’s general secretary organisational, BL Santosh, was also in the city recently.
This development comes just months before the Telangana Assembly elections which are slated to be held next year.
