PM Modi Pays Tribute To Former PM Rajiv Gandhi On His Birth Anniversary

Rajiv Gandhi took over the charge of the Congress in 1984, following the assassination of his mother and then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to former PM Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary on Tuesday.

"Tributes to our former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi Ji on his birth anniversary", PM Modi posted on X.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also paid tribute to Rajiv Gandhi and said that the former PM, with his unprecedented contribution, brought India into the 21st century.
