Australia's head coach Matthew Mott has called for an extra day of play in women's Tests following an eventful fourth day that involved a couple of sporting rulings. The one-off pink-ball Test match between India and Australia ended in a draw.
The one-off pink-ball women's Test between India and Australia, which ended in a draw with the tourists on top, has reignited the argument about whether women's Tests should be made a five-day affair to improve their results.
The Indian women topped the day and night Test and would have scored a historic win if it had been a five-day match.

Hours after the Tarique Rahman-led BNP government was sworn in, newly appointed state minister for sports, Aminul Haque, said he wanted cases against Awami League-loyalist cricketers, Shakib Al Hasan and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, resolved so that they could return to cricket. The former Bangladesh captains served as Awami League MPs and face multiple charges.
