Pinjra Tod activist and JNU student Natasha Narwal was finally released from Delhi's Tihar Jail on Thursday evening. An accused in the 2020 Delhi riots "conspiracy" case, she was granted bail by the Delhi High Court on June 15. However, there was a delay in her release as the Delhi Police failed to carry out necessary verifications on time. Speaking to reporters after walking out of the prison, Natasha Narwal said she and other student activists received immense support from the jail inmates. "I am however not fully happy on walking out of the jail due to my father's death," she said.More Related News
