Philadelphia Columbus statue uncovered for first time in two years

A box covering a statue of Christopher Columbus in South Philadelphia was removed on Sunday following a court's order that also allowed for a clear wall to cover the structure.
For centuries, Columbus was credited with discovering America, but throughout that course, the European pioneer was found to have treated indigenous people already on the land, poorly. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
