Petrol and diesel rates have been hiked sharply on Wednesday by state-run oil marketing companies. The prices are likely to further increase as global crude oil prices continue to consolidate.
Fuel prices were hiked on Thursday by state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) for a second straight day. Petrol rates across the country have been increased by 14-19 paise per litre, while diesel price has 20-21 paise. After today’s hike, the price of petrol in Delhi has increased to Rs 90.74 per litre, while its crossed Rs 97 in Mumbai. The price for a litre of petrol has also increased in other cities like Kolkata (Rs 90.92), Chennai (Rs 92.70), Bengaluru (Rs 93.77), Hyderabad (Rs 94.77), Jaipur (Rs 97.12), Patna (Rs 93.03) and Bhubaneshwar (Rs 91.76).More Related News
