Doha: The eighth edition of the Katara European Jazz Festival will feature shows by musical bands from Malta, Belgium, and Armenia today, thereby capping off the festival which is being held by the Cultural Village Foundation- Katara in collaboration with embassies of 11 European countries.

The Festival featured musical performances that blended classical and modern styles of jazz music, with the participating artists excelling in presenting awe-inspiring melodies that reflected diverse cultures of Europe with the participation of a contingent of prominent European musical bands.

The spectators enjoyed spectacular musical performances played bands from Italy, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Spain, alongside other musical performances from Belgium, Malta, the Netherlands, and Armenia. 

The shows offered new experiences to the public to have a glimpse of various cultures and arts, as Saturday was a busy day full of charming musical nights with distinguished performances from the Italian Collettivo Immaginario band.

General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti emphasized that the event has become a cultural platform that promotes cultural and art exchange between Qatar and European nations. He underlined that the success of this event underscores Katara’s commitment to curating art innovation and nurturing the cultural scene in Qatar.
