Mounties responded to the collision on Highway 2, south of the Highway 2A exit ramp, at approximately 6:45 a.m.
The crash involved one vehicle and a pedestrian, RCMP told CTV News Edmonton.
Traffic is expected to be rerouted for several hours at Glen Park Road, police said.
The crash is under investigation.
