According to data on Flightradar24, the Voepass plane left Cascavel and was en route to São Paulo when it lost signal shortly before 1:30 local time. Dramatic social media videos on Friday afternoon showed the aircraft hitting a residential area. It is not immediately clear how many passengers were on board at the time of the crash.
