All in all, that will go down as an incredibly frustrating night for Arsenal. There were some half-hearted boos aimed at referee Slavko Vinčić when he blew for full time, but Gunners fans will know their team didn’t do nearly enough to win that game. It was a night that promised so much. It was the first time a Champions League semifinal had been played at the Emirates in 16 years and one of the biggest occasions in the history of Arsenal Football Club.
