Pamela Anderson’s camp breaks silence on claims Meghan Markle ‘copied’ her in new Netflix show
NY Post
Pamela Anderson’s team has spoken out after Meghan Markle was accused of copying her cooking show in her new Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.”
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, this week celebrated the release of her 8-part series, which sees her offer up a “how-to” guide for hosting and entertaining at home.
But not long after its release Tuesday, viewers pointed out a series of striking similarities between Markle’s series and Anderson’s recently released cooking show, “Pamela’s Cooking With Love.”
Now, Jesse Fawcett, co-creator of Anderson’s show, has weighed in on the discourse following the non-stop comparisons between the two projects.
“We take pride in planting the first seeds — creating original, distinctive programming that audiences love — and it’s a compliment to see our work with Ms Anderson resonate so strongly,” Fawcett told the Daily Mail.
Anderson’s show — which premiered on Feb. 24 — features the “Baywatch” alum, 57, join forces with world-class chefs to prepare a selection of plant-based meals at her home on Vancouver Island.
