Their league game was rescheduled after violent protests outside the Old Trafford Stadium earlier this month. A section of fans even invaded the pitch, carrying banners against owners Glazers, expressing their disappointment over United's Super League collaboration. Protesters also clashed with police outside the ground, with six officers injured during the demonstrations. British media reported further protests are planned ahead of Thursday's game.
