Doha, Qatar: Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced that during the National Sport Day holiday 2026, observed on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, its on-duty health centers received a total of 5,237 patients, including both citizens and residents, across 21 operational centers during that period.

This total includes all patients seen in general medicine and family medicine clinics, amounting to 2,431 patients, while general dental clinics received 186 patients. The figure also includes all cases treated in the Urgent Care Units across 13 health centers: Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Al Ruwais, Al Sheehaniya, Al Kaaban, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Rawdat Al Khail, Muaither, Umm Slal, Leabaib, Al Karaana, and Al Wajbah. These units handled 2,189 urgent cases, each managed according to its level of necessity.

PHCC explained that a range of specialized clinic services were made available, including ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, and premarital screening clinics, in addition to pharmacy, radiology, and laboratory services throughout the holiday to meet patients’ needs. Ophthalmology clinics received 51 patients, ENT clinics 38 patients, and dermatology clinics 35 patients at Leabaib and Rawdat Al Khail health centers. Premarital screening clinics received 18 patients at both Leabaib and Al Mashaf health centers.
