As many as 112 people have lost their lives and 99 have gone missing in rain-related incidents in Maharashtra. Over the last three days, the Pune and Konkan divisions in Maharashtra have witnessed torrential rains that triggered landslides and floods in some areas. The rain intensity reduced in Maharashtra's Satara district on Sunday and authorities continued search operations for those missing after landslides, while traffic remained suspended on the Mumbai-Bengaluru highway as a stretch in neighbouring Kolhapur was still inundated, officials said.
