The Mayor's Office told councillors that an agreement was reached through "backchannel negotiations" this weekend for vehicles to exit residential streets in the coming days.
In a letter to the mayor, President Tamara Lich said they are working to get "buy in" from the truckers.
"We have made a plan to consolidate our protest efforts around Parliament Hill. We will be working hard over the next 24 hours to get buy in from the truckers. We hope to start repositioning our trucks on Monday," Lich wrote.
Watson asked Lich on Saturday to remove the convoy and its trucks from all residential neighbourhoods and restrict the presence to a limited perimeter on Wellington Street. The mayor said he would meet with Lich to discuss their concerns as long as allow of the trucks are removed.
