‘Govt. failed to submit right data the Governor’
AIADMK coordinator O. Panneerselvam on Friday faulted the DMK government for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) Bill getting returned by Governor R.N. Ravi.
In a statement, he accused the government of failure to submit right data and views to the Governor.
Mr. Panneerselvam said that after the Assembly adopted the legislation in September last, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin met the Governor on several occasions and he was duty-bound to disclose the details of his discussions.
Bengaluru saw one of its worst water crises in 2024 with ground water drying up and several parts of the city scrambling for water. With instances like BWSSB supplying treated wastewater to the construction industry, apartments being permitted to sell water from their STPs to the department, and lakes in parts of Bengaluru and neighbouring districts being filled with water from the 33 STP plants in the city, recycling of water became an important topic of conversation during this period.
