Ooredoo to help support those unemployed due to Covid-19 this Ramadan

Ooredoo Qatar will be working with non-profit organisation Silatech this Ramadan to raise funds, which will go towards helping those who have experienced negative financial impact due to Covid-19. Ooredoo’s sponsorship forms part of its Ooredoo Al Khair campaign launched during the holy month of Ramadan to provide support to a number of charitable organisations. Until May 15, 2021, Silatech will carry out a fund-raising campaign titled ‘Spare them from Asking’ to support those who lost their jobs due to the negative economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Funds will be collected through a wide range of channels, from digital such as websites, SMS and Nojoom programme donations, to the more conventional bank transfers, cheques and donation boxes. Nojoom members can donate their Nojoom points via the Ooredoo website or App.
