Only under BJP, laws are made, unmade without Cabinet approval: Chidambaram after repeal of farm laws

Congress leader P Chidambaram took a dig at the ruling BJP at the Centre and targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making "the announcement [about the repeal of three farm laws] without holding a Cabinet meeting".

P Chidambaram hit out at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for making key decisions without prior Cabinet approval. The Congress leader was referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement on Friday, wherein he declared that the Centre will repeal all the three farm laws with the due procedure in Parliament. In a tweet on Saturday, P Chidambaram targeted PM Modi, saying that he made the big announcement without discussing it in a cabinet meeting.
