This was on the same day the Tamil Nadu Assembly adopted a Bill to dispense with the NEET for medical courses. Kanimozhi took the NEET on Sunday but was worried about not performing well. Her relatives said that Kanimozhi was depressed over the exam as she feared she couldn't become a doctor even after scoring very well in the Class 12 examination.
