The former Wigan Athletic, Bolton Wanderers and Reading goalkeeper was part of a new Technical Advisory Group (TAG), headed by FIFA Chief of Global Football Development Arsène Wenger (front, third from right), that met in Doha earlier this week. Among those who were present as part of the meeting included Brazilian former players Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos, Australia’s Tim Cahill, and England’s Michael Owen and John Terry, among others.
