Syed Shahid Hakim, former India footballer and member of the last national team that played in the 1960 Rome Olympics, died on Sunday at a hospital in Gulbarga.
Former Olympic footballer and ex-national football coach Syed Shahid Hakim passed away in a private hospital in Gulbarga on Sunday. He was 82 and survived by his wife and two daughters. Hakim 'saab' as he was popularly known, was 82 years old at the time of his death. He had very recently suffered a stroke after which he was admitted to a hospital in Gulbarga.More Related News
