Officer Who Killed Rayshard Brooks Wants Bond Conditions Modified

Officer Garrett Rolfe is currently required to wear an ankle monitor, obey a curfew, not possess any guns and cannot contact Atlanta police officers.

The officer charged with killing Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta is asking for conditions of his bond to be lifted. Garrett Rolfe is charged with murder after shooting Brooks last June. A judge set a $500,000 bond, ordered him to wear an ankle monitor, imposed a curfew and is preventing him from having guns or being in touch with Atlanta police officers.
