Odisha man hacks noted environmentalist Dhrubaraj Naik to death over Rs 100

Dhrubaraj Naik, noted environmentalist and former Sambalpur University Vice-Chancellor, was murdered on Sunday at his home in Odisha's Jharsuguda district.

Former Sambalpur University Vice-Chancellor and noted environmentalist Dhrubaraj Naik was hacked to death inside his own home by an inebriated miscreant. The incident took place on Sunday morning in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district. The miscreant has been identified as 20-year-old Pravin Dharua, who reportedly had a feud with the 83-year-old Dhrubaraj Naik.
