The annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings in Odisha's Puri, scheduled for July 12 following the nod from the supreme court, will be held without the participation of general devotees for the second consecutive year due to Covid-19 pandemic. Unlike pre-Covid years, the Rath Yatra this time will be devoid of its scale of unique pomp and spectacle. Only sevayats (people who perform the ritual services at the Jagannath Temple) will pull the chariots of Lord Balabhadra, Lord Jagannath and Devi Subhadra during the Rath Yatra.More Related News
