Odisha forms high-level advisory panel for Covid-19 management

The Odisha government has formed a high-level advisory committee that will advise the state government on the proper management of Covid-19.

The Odisha government has formed a high-level advisory committee to tackle the Covid-19 crisis, under the chairmanship of leading public health expert Dr. Srinath Reddy, to advise the state government on strategy for vaccination drive and tackle the possible third wave of coronavirus pandemic. This was announced by state chief secretary Suresh Mohapatra. "The committee will advise the state government on proper management of Covid-19, vaccination and on probable third wave and steps and measures for the treatment of Covid patients. The advice of the committee will be implemented forthwith," the chief secretary was quoted as saying in an official statement. Dr. CBK Mohanty, DMET, Government of Odisha, will be the convenor of the committee.
