NYPD dance team under fire amid crime concerns
Fox News
The New York City Police Department's dance team is facing criticism after performing at schools and events as crime surges across the city.
"It's outrageous, it's offensive, I think it's offensive to taxpayers, I think it's offensive to females in law enforcement. As a woman in law enforcement, this is degrading and I am embarrassed. I see that, and I think it's totally inappropriate."
"Mayor Eric Adams cut an additional $100 million from education this year, but he somehow found money for the NYPD to promote themselves with a dance team," one critic wrote.
"Fire the NYPD dance team and hire more cops," another user wrote.
