NY Gov. Cuomo, whose admin hid nursing home data, says he's 'always chosen to do the right thing'
Fox News
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday that he will be requiring state employees to take the coronavirus vaccine and said he has “always chosen” to do the “right thing” rather than the “political thing.”
"A politician who suggests too many unpopular options is not a long-term politician, but there's a choice of doing the political thing or doing the right thing and I've always chosen to do the right thing and I believe ultimately that is even the best politics, but I think we have to go further here. I think we need dramatic action to get control of this situation." Cuomo added that patient-facing healthcare workers at state-run hospitals will be required to take the vaccine and will not be given the option to submit to weekly testing.More Related News
