The venerable Venice Film Festival was back in all its glory for its 78th edition, Covid protocols firmly in place. The festival was heavily top-loaded. Only Giuseppe Tornatore’s Ennio, his biopic of legendary composer Ennio Morricone; Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel, starring Jodie Comer, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck; and David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, the big guns, were saved for the latter half.More Related News
