Sampson County, North Carolina sheriff's office deputies responded to shots fired at a homeless encampment and found four people dead from gunfire wounds.
A local CBS station reportedly spoke with a woman who said she heard an argument coming from the camp as she was returning to her home after walking her dogs on Sunday morning. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
"I heard arguing, didn’t think nothing of it, just went back in the house," she told the station. "I started to cook breakfast, then I heard 10 to 15 shots back-to-back."
