The pet owners have been facing technical glitches and failing to register their pets on the Noida Pet Registration Android App. Today, i.e. February 14, 2022, is the deadline given by the Noida Authority to register the pets on the app.
In a bid to enhance the well being of the pets, the Noida Authority developed a Noida Pet Registration Android App for pet owners.
But, after receiving a dull response, the authority declared that if the residents fail to register their pets by February 14, they will be fined.
While it was said that once the deadline was crossed, a fine of Rs 1000 would be levied on all those who would keep unregistered canines; it was found that many owners have faced difficulties in registering the pet through the said app.
The dogs, cats and other pet owners complained about facing technical glitches while registering the pets through the app that was launched in September 2021.
As per the online reviews, many users faced issues with uploading documents on the app, while others said that the apps keep on getting refreshed, erasing all the saved data, making the job tedious.
Talking to India Today, Ankur Anand, a resident from Noida extension, revealed he tried to register his dog through the app but failed due to technical issues.
"First time when I tried registering my pet named Pablo, a Siberian Husky, everything was fine till I reached the payment option, but then, the page crashed. Every time there was an unknown error. The second time I tried on February 14 and I was not able to select 'pet type' on the first page itself. The error showed data not found," Ankur added.
