No Ramayan recital at Lucknow's Lulu mall for now amid namaz row

Amid the namaz row at Lucknow's Lulu mall, the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha has postponed their programme to recite Sundar Kand.
The programme of the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha to recite Sundar Kand in front of the Lulu mall in Lucknow was postponed on Friday after a meeting was held between police and officials of the mall. Police officials arrested two workers of the Hindu body when they were enroute mall to recite Sundar Kand.
Kiran Tiwari, wife of slain Hindu Samaj Party (HSP) chief Kamlesh Tiwari, was put under house arrest in Lalbagh when she was going to Lulu Mall to chant Sundar Kand. Kiran Tiwari is also the president of the Hindu Samaj party.
The Hindu organisation has sought strict action against people who offered namaz inside the mall and have given a week's ultimatum for the same.
The Hindu had sought permission from the local authorities to recite Sundar Kand in front of the mall on Friday. The decision to postpone the event was taken by the Hindu body after Lulu Mall's General Manager Samir Verma and police authorities had a meeting.
Police officials along with the General Manager of Lulu Mall, Samir Verma, reached the residence of national spokesperson of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha Sishir Chaturvedi with a list of employees working in the mall.
Sishir Chaturvedi said, "The GM of Lulu Mall, Samir Verma, asked us to postpone the programme and Lucknow police officials were also present. We are not satisfied with the list of employees and we have demanded a probe."
