No pending payments of sugarcane farmers in Uttar Pradesh, reveals RTI query

Sugarcane farmers in Uttar Pradesh have received full payment and no dues are pending in the financial years 2018-19 and 2019-20, an RTI query has revealed. Uttar Pradesh is the largest sugarcane-producing state. The issue of sugarcane dues of farmers is one of the biggest and recurring problems, particularly in Western Uttar Pradesh.
