Next academic session in Karnataka schools likely to begin from July 15

Karnataka government has stated that the next academic session in schools in the state will most likely begin from July 15 this year.

The government of Karnataka has decided to commence the new academic session in schools across the state from July 15 this year, announced the Primary and Secondary Education Minister of Karnataka, S Suresh Kumar. The decision to delay the commencement of the upcoming academic session has been taken by the government of Karnataka in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the sudden spike in the number of cases across the state. Though the potential date for the commencement of the new academic session has been announced, it is not finalised yet. “We will discuss the matter further with officials of the health department before finalising the decision,” S Suresh Kumar said.
