Newest Knicks set to make debuts, but Isaiah Hartenstein ruled out for Saturday in latest injury worry
NY Post
The injury-ravaged Knicks certainly could use a few warm bodies after employing a seven-man rotation in the second half of Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks.
Recently acquired veterans Alec Burks and Bojan Bogdanovic are expected to play when the Knicks face the Pacers on Saturday night at the Garden.
But center Isaiah Hartenstein already has been ruled out after leaving Thursday’s game at halftime after aggravating his recurring left Achilles injury.
He also missed two games due to the issue in January.
Hartenstein has averaged 8.3 points and 11.2 rebounds in 24 games as a starter this season, with Mitchell Robinson sideliend since early December following ankle surgery.
Jalen Brunson is listed as questionable again after sitting out Thursday’s game with a sprained right ankle.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
