Newark mayor arrested as Dem Congress members storm New Jersey ICE prison to conduct 'oversight visit'

Three members of Congress stormed into a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility in New Jersey, officials said.

"They treated me pretty well, so a lot of respect for those guys in there, but at the end of the day, we didn't do anything wrong," he said. "This should not have happened today, but it did and it's just an example of you know, the work that we have to do." Chinchilla Caballero, arrested April 29, is a known MS-13 member, DHS said. He has multiple felony convictions, including possession of controlled dangerous substance, drug trafficking, resisting arrest and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, DHS said. He is affiliated with the street gang "Dominicans don't play," the agency said. He has felony arrests including aggravated unlicensed driving, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, interfering with custody of children, obstructing administration of law and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, DHS said. Earlier, a crowd, including several lawmakers, gathered outside the HSI Newark Field Office where Baraka was being held Friday evening. The group chanted, yelled and banged on the gate, calling for Baraka's release.
