Authorities say a New Mexico man who fatally stabbed Las Cruces Patrol Officer Jonah Hernandez on Sunday had an extensive record of violent crime convictions.
"We will mourn the loss of our brother forever," Las Cruces police Chief Jeremy Story said at a Tuesday news conference.
