Nets can turn postseason into true Knicks horror show
NY Post
The KNICKS hired Tom Thibodeau a year too late. Had they turned to the NBA’s latest Coach of the Year before free agency started in 2019, maybe, on Thibs’ record, they would have had a better shot at signing Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
Maybe they would be up 2-0 in the Eastern Conference semis, rather than searching for summer workout partners and desirable tee times. Durant delivered 32 points and six assists in Brooklyn’s 125-86 shredding of Milwaukee in Game 2 at Barclays Center, cutting Giannis Antetokounmpo down to size. Irving finished with 22 points and six assists, and made two long first-half jumpers right in the Greek Freak’s face, including a 3 to open the scoring. They did this without James Harden, who sat near the baseline dressed in white, his services not at all required.More Related News
Whenever seasons like the one the Knicks just completed end, I always find myself back outside the visiting locker room at old Mile High Stadium. I always find myself standing with a handful of writers surrounding Bill Parcells maybe half an hour after the Jets lost the AFC Championship game to the Broncos.
