NEP 2020: Education Minister Launches Academic Calendar, Other Initiatives

The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education has launched a booklet on one-year achievements of the NEP implementation today to commemorate one year of the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP 2020).

The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education has launched a booklet on one-year achievements of the NEP implementation today to commemorate one year of the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP 2020). The booklet has been launched virtually by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. In addition to the booklet, some major NEP 2020 initiatives have also been launched. These include: During the launch, Education Minister said: "NEP is a philosophical document, not about data or numbers. Education is not about collecting degrees but to build character and national through building knowledge. That is our understanding of the Indian knowledge system.”
